From primary school to production partners
Meet Alex and Micky, the creative team behind Rise Film. Friends since primary school, their paths crossed again years later while working on a Victorian-set television pilot. Reunited by a shared passion for storytelling, creativity and ambitious filmmaking, they founded Rise Film with a simple goal: to create video content that genuinely connects with audiences.
Today, Rise Film works with brands, agencies, organisations and public sector clients to develop and produce everything from promotional campaigns and tourism films to social media content, training programmes and community storytelling projects. More than just filmmakers, Alex and Micky act as creative partners – helping clients shape ideas, solve production challenges and bring complex projects to life.
Whether building a custom studio set for a 120-video training platform, filming live music performances inside working saunas, or creating campaigns that generate national attention, Rise Film thrives on turning ambitious ideas into engaging content. Every project is approached with the same combination of creative thinking, technical expertise and attention to detail that has become the foundation of the company's work.
